The following are irregular plural nouns you can use for the above activities. You can also use your own words.

1. Aw Search
- Find a book.
- Look at each page.
- Make a list of all the aw words in the book on a piece of paper.
- Write a sentence for 5 of the words you found. *Be sure to include capital letters and periods.
- Take a picture of your sentences and post them on your portfolio in Class Dojo.
2. Aw Matching (You will need note cards, a pencil, and another person.)
- Pick 7-10 aw words. Make two cards for each word.
- Place all of the cards face down on a table or the floor.
- Now you're ready to play. The oldest person goes first.
- On your turn, turn over one card. Read the word.
- Turn over a second card. Read the word.
- If the words match, you keep the cards. If they do not, turn the cards back over.
- That is the end of your turn.
- Take turns playing until there are no more cards left.
- The person with the most matches wins.
- Record yourself playing this game or take a picture playing this game, and post it on your portfolio on Class Dojo.

MEASUREMENT - COMPARING WEIGHT
1. Listen to Just a Little Bit by Ann Tompert.
2. Watch this video from Periwinkle about the words heavy and light.
3. Watch this video from Sesame Street about using a balance scale to compare weights.
4. Build your own balance scale. Use supplies around your house. Here are some examples.
5. Play a Game.
- This game is called Heavier or Lighter. (You will need a balance scale, objects to weigh, and a dice.)
- The heaviest player goes first.
- The first player picks an object and holds it for 2 seconds.
- Then that player rolls the dice.
- If the player rolls 1, 2, or 3, he/she will need to find something that is lighter.
- If the player rolls 4, 5, or 6, he/she will need to find something that is heavier.
- The player uses the balance scale to see if he/she was right.
- If the player was correct, that player gets 10 points.
- If the player was not correct, that player gets 0 points.
- It's now the next person's turn.
- The game is over when one player gets to 100 points.
- Record a video of one of your turns and post it in your portfolio in Class Dojo, or take a picture of yourself using the balance scale and post it in your portfolio in Class Dojo.
