Opinion Writing - Day 4 (Step 5 Editing Your Writing)
Watch as Mr. Seiders shows you how to edit, or fix, your rough draft.
2. Edit your rough draft. When you're finished, take a picture of it, and post it on your portfolio in Class Dojo. You can use these 6 questions to help you while editing your writing.
You can go back and watch the video again and again to help you edit your rough draft.
- Did you start your sentences with capital letters?
- Did you end your sentences with the correct punctuation mark?
- Did you use good spacing between your words?
- Did you do your best spelling?
- Did you need to add words to make your writing better?
- Did you need to take away words to make your writing better?

MEASUREMENT - COMPARING VOLUME Day 1
1. Watch this video from Sesame Street about comparing volume using the words more and less.
2. Watch this video from Matholia about comparing volume using the words empty, full, more and less.
3. Play MORE OR LESS (You will need two cups that are the same size, water, and a dice.)
- The player with smallest hand goes first.
- The first player puts some water in one cup.
- Then that player rolls the dice.
- If the player rolls 1 or 2, he/she will need to put less water in the second cup.
- If the player rolls 3 or 4, he/she will need to put the same amount of water in the second cup.
- If the player rolls 5 or 6, he/she will need to put more water in the second cup.
- If the player is correct, that player gets 10 points. If the player was not correct, that player gets 0 points.
- It's now the next person's turn.
- The game is over when one player gets to 100 points.
- Record a video of one of your turns and post it in your portfolio in Class Dojo.
