The following are irregular plural nouns you can use for the above activities. You can also use your own words.

1. OW Word Search
- Find a book.
- Look at each page.
- Make a list of all the ow words in the book on a piece of paper.
- Write a sentence for 5 of the words you found. *Be sure to include capital letters and periods.
- Take a picture of your sentences and post them on your portfolio in Class Dojo.
2. OW Word Matching (You will need note cards, a pencil, and another person.)
- Pick 7-10 ow words. Make two cards for each word.
- Place all of the cards face down on a table or the floor.
- Now you're ready to play. The oldest person goes first.
- On your turn, turn over one card. Read the word.
- Turn over a second card. Read the word.
- If the words match, you keep the cards. If they do not, turn the cards back over.
- That is the end of your turn.
- Take turns playing until there are no more cards left.
- The person with the most matches wins.
- Record yourself playing this game or take a picture playing this game, and post it on your portfolio on Class Dojo.

MEASUREMENT - COMPARING VOLUME Day 2
1. Watch these two videos from Cartoons Time about comparing volume.
2. Watch this video from Claire Norenbergs about comparing volume.
3. Take THE 5 CUP CHALLENGE
(You will need 5 cups of different shapes and sizes, something to fill the cups (water, rice, dry beans, etc.), and a dice.)

- The person with the smallest foot goes first.
- That person picks one of the cups and fills it up to the top.
- Then that person rolls the dice.
- If the person rolls 1 or 2, he/she tries to pick a cup with less volume.
- If the person rolls 3 or 4, he/she tries to pick a cup with the same volume.
- If the person rolls 5 or 6, he/she tries to pick a cup with more volume.
- When the person has picked a second cup, he/she pours the contents of the first cup into the second cup to see if he/she was correct.
- If the player was correct, he/she gets 5 points.
- If the player was not correct, he/she gets 0 points.
- Then, the next player goes.
- The game is over when a player has 50 points.
- At the end of the game, ask your child to explain how he/she knows if a cup has more or less volume? Record a video of his/her response and post it in your child's portfolio in Class Dojo.
